None of this mattered to the throngs that crowded every parking lot at MMNA headquarters, as well as neighboring parking lots. The vast majority of Mitsubishis onhand were Evos, and almost all of those were modified in some way or another. There were too many Evo clubs packed into the lot to name them all: SoCal Evos, San Diego Evos, Advance Motorsports (Reppin’ The Eastside since ’92), Team Elevate and 5150 Racing, Team REV, Empire, Team Emperor Motorsports, evasive motorsports, Team Elevate, Lost Motorsports, and others that might have been one-off stickers from individual owners (Lone Wolf No Club).

Merc engineers bumped the steering ratio up on the GLC from 16:1 to 15:1 to make it feel sportier. Sport and sport-plus driving modes also firm up the steering -- making it considerably heavier than the eco and comfort modes. The added weight, combined with the increased steering ratio compared to the normal GLC, helps the Coupe feel sharper on the canyon roads we drove. Sure, it’s still limited by its center of gravity and non-aggressive tires, but compared to its utilitarian variant, it’s a step in the sporty direction.

The annual Greenwich Concours is two events in one, with American cars taking the field on Saturday, yielding the floor to classics from elsewhere in the world on Sunday for Concours Europa. Sunday's show, which is coupled with a live Bonhams auction, has been the better-attended day of the two years even when an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in to try to keep supercar fans away.

Supercar fans were not kept away by this year's monsoon, and this year's edition of the concours rewarded gawkers with some of the rarest iron from the northeast.

With 707 hp, the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats are two of the most powerful American neo-muscle cars off the showroom floor, and they’re about to get even more oomph. According to Automobile Magazine, the next generation of Mopar muscle will be fixed to the Alfa Romeo Giulia platform and in Hellcat trim will have at least 750 hp.

The platform change makes sense, considering Dodge’s pony car is getting close to a decade old and the Alfa Romeo Giulia platform is brand new and already rear-wheel drive. The Alfa was also developed to handle lots of power, but unlike the current generation Challengers and Chargers, still being light enough to throw around.
